The Depth Wave X preamplifier is simple and elegant while using the latest Japanese technology for gain control offering the best transparency with no artifacts from lesser volume controls.
The Depth Wave X preamplifier has the following attributes:

Jfet transistors and no feedback
+6dB of gain available (1 volt in - 2 volts out)
118dB SNR (bench tested, no casing which should provide better results once in a case)

Clipping @10 volts (most amplifiers reach their maximum at around 2 volts or less)

The Depth Wave X stereo amplifier is a culmination of technologies, chosen high quality/ precision components and Gold plated PCB layouts with isolated power / audio ground planes to maximize performance and lower distortion.

DC output protected in case of a catastrophic amplifier failure (speaker protection)

Over heating protection. The amplifier will shut down if overheated and will resume once the temperature has dropped to a lower level. Verify your speaker impedance. The lower the impedance, the more heat this amplifier will dissipate. Running 2 ohm loads is not recommended. Contact us if this is your intention.

Recommended amplification 15 watts to what ever makes you happy. These speakers have a limit like all speakers do. Stay alert of driver distress or distortion and back the volume down. In most rooms they will play much louder than most want to listen to. They are capable of producing sound pressure levels above 100dB. Be careful to protect your hearing. The recommendations from the WHO for listening levels are around 85 - 87dB and this at your listening position.
