The Depth Wave X preamplifier has the following attributes:

- 118dB SNR (bench tested, no casing which should provide better results once in a case)

- Clipping @10 volts (most amplifiers reach their maximum at around 2 volts or less)

- Recommended amplification 15 watts to what ever makes you happy. These speakers have a limit like all speakers do. Stay alert of driver distress or distortion and back the volume down. In most rooms they will play much louder than most want to listen to. They are capable of producing sound pressure levels above 100dB. Be careful to protect your hearing. The recommendations from the WHO for listening levels are around 85 - 87dB and this at your listening position.
