New for 2018 - the ArtistClonerSOLITZspeaker cable is unique in its fabrication and use of high quality materials. Named the SOLITZ as this is a hybrid of a high count, 47 strands Litz cable combined with one solid core *6N-OCC 99.9999% pure copper wire. Solid + Litz = SOLITZ! Litz wire has many strands of wire thinly isolated from each other by a type of enamel protecting the wires and increasing the surface conduction area. The thin isolation between strands makes this cable look small for its size but don't be fooled as this is a huge cable conductor that is not puffed up with thick isolation dielectrics. The audio qualities of Litz cables are well documented for audio use and are considered the holy grail in many circles for speaker cables. The total AWG size of the cable is bigger than a #10 (AWG) allowing this cable an amperage capacity of well over 20 amps!
The SOLITZ Speaker cable has the right balance of frequency extension, mid-range expressiveness and pace. The resolution and details are presented in a smooth fashion and keeps listening fatigue low. The depth, width and height are rendered with a stunning realism with imaging that is very precise and properly located. The high amperage capacity lets the music flow with little interference in dynamics and efficiency at all frequencies. There is no design cousin in the industry making this cable unique in construction and in sonic performance.
Hybrid LITZ and a solid core *6N-OCC copper wire (99.9999% pure)
Resonance absorption / control through full length shrink
*6N-OCC COPPER (99.9999%)-used in most top of the line cable products, 6N-OCC provides the best quality copper. OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) is the name given to the casting process developed to help defeat annealing issues and virtually eliminate all grain boundaries in copper or silver with a unique patented process. The OCC casting method stretches single copper crystal to a whopping 125 meters in length. Stretching the crystal makes for a much smoother path for the electrons to travel. An analogy of the difference between the non-OCC copper and the OCC 99.9999% copper is like driving a car on a repaired asphalt road with cracks (non-OCC copper) and a brand new road (OCC 99.9999% copper).
