New for 2018 - the ArtistClonerSOLITZspeaker cable is unique in its fabrication and use of high quality materials. Named the SOLITZ as this is a hybrid of a high count, 49 strands Litz cable combined with one solid core *6N-OCC 99.9999% pure copper wire. Solid + Litz = SOLITZ! Litz wire has many strands of wire thinly isolated from each other by a type of enamel protecting the wires and increasing the surface conduction area. The thin isolation between strands makes this cable look small for its size but don't be fooled as this is a huge cable conductor that is not puffed up with thick isolation dielectrics. The audio qualities of Litz cables are well documented for audio use and are considered the holy grail in many circles for speaker cables. The total AWG size of the cable is equivalent to an #8AWG allowing this cable an amperage capacity of well over 40 amps!

Hear are some tough tests to get by as we short one end of the cable and send a signal through both negative and positive wires to get our results. This shows a more true real world performance of a cable and most manufactures don't like to test them this way as is it makes the measurements worse. Even though we test our cables this way our results are nothing short of amazing! All measured specifications are for a 20 foot ArtistCloner SOLITZ speaker cable with one end shorted. Termination is with Cardas Rhodium spades.

*6N-OCC COPPER (99.9999%)-used in most top of the line cable products, 6N-OCC provides the best quality copper. OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) is the name given to the casting process developed to help defeat annealing issues and virtually eliminate all grain boundaries in copper or silver with a unique patented process. The OCC casting method stretches single copper crystal to a whopping 125 meters in length. Stretching the crystal makes for a much smoother path for the electrons to travel. An analogy of the difference between the non-OCC copper and the OCC 99.9999% copper is like driving a car on a repaired asphalt road with cracks (non-OCC copper) and a brand new road (OCC 99.9999% copper).
