Casual listening or serious listening? Whats the difference? Casual listening is back ground music and some short listening sessions; less than an album. Serious listening is getting taken away in a journey through sound just like reading a good book. You actually stop what your are doing and taking time to listen to music with all your focus just like taking the time to read a book.  Your listening habits will determine what you want out of your system.

What could be done?

Anywhere from accessories to actual equipment. It all depends where you are now and where you would  like to be with your sound. For a few hundred dollars your system could be elevated to new levels of performance that you thought not possible.

That is why we tend to play the music louder as to get closer to it. A good quality system can play at lower volumes and get close to the musical event.
