The MEKANIKA loudspeaker is a new, fun loudspeaker inspired in a steam punk style. (It is possible to make it more conventional in the likes of the ETHER loudspeaker). This Champ of a loudspeaker is really amazing for sound staging, depth and bass delivery. The music is presented in an even handed fashion that makes you forget you are listening to loudspeakers. This is melt in your seat, don't move in case you miss something type of sound.

The port placements which fire towards the ceiling and the floor help in reducing room boom. The angles on the ports can be used to adjust the low bass output by aiming the ports towards the outside of the speakers or the inside. This helps in fine tuning the low bass in rooms.
The felt on both sides of the tweeters are there to control diffraction and thus have less confusion and high frequency splash in the final musical playback. This lends itself to a more natural presentation overall, less fatigue and more inner detail. The tweeter is also front firing with its back in open air as to not have the pressure of the midwoofers slamming the rear of the tweeter and diminishing its performance.
The side iron piping clamps down vibrations and lets the drivers express themselves without interference of a second sound wave emitting from the structure. The different materials used in this speaker construction spread out the resonant vibrations and as a result this speaker system interferes less in the overall presentation than conventional speaker boxes.
The final results are an openness and intimacy that unfolds in a vast, multilayered, powerful sound wave that mimics "in the room presence" like never before. The musical message is articulated in a direct and fresh fashion that is truly mesmerizing.*
