cABLE RISERS...WHY?


High end systems, just like precision instruments, are fragile to vibrations which includes the cables used in these audio systems. Mechanical vibrations and shock have an impact on the playback of a system. Raising the cables off the floor this gives the advantage of lowering the capacitance between cable and floor. These risers have stainless steel pins that are non magnetic as to not interfere with the magnetism of the cables it is supporting.

The wood blocks are of a solid hardwood type (four wood types are available) and include non-magnetic metal inserts for the stainless steel support rods. The non-magnetic insert provides a solid link for the pins to the wood blocks and the threads won't wear with use.

These TO HEAVEN risers also sport special high absorption feet to further dampen the vibrations by converting it into heat. The HIGH QUALITY SUPPORTING RUBBER BANDS further isolate the cables for the quietest signal transmission ever. To enhance the visual qualities there is a custom hand made PEWTER medal ARTISTCLONER logo inserted into the wood.  Made in Canada.

HOW MANY ARE NEEDED?
This depends on two factors:
  1. The length of your cable to be supported
  2. The stiffness of the cable
These two factors and how you system is set up will determine the quantities needed to properly support the cables. In general 6 supports work well for cables up to 8-10 feet. 10-15 feet the TEN units are better suited for this purpose. Options: You could purchase the TEN and use 6 for speaker cables and use the 4 left over for the A/C cables if this works for your setup.
